CGI Drone Show Ad for Etisalat’s Rebranding to "e&" at the Pyramids!
The final render showcases the seamless blend of technology and culture as Etisalat transitions to “e&” at one of Egypt’s most iconic locations—the Pyramids. A dazzling display of drones forms mesmerizing patterns, culminating in the transformation of the Etisalat logo into the new “e&” branding.
Crafting the Script: The First Steps to Rebranding Magic!
In this phase, the entire narrative of the CGI drone show came to life on paper.
Each frame was carefully designed, capturing the transformation from the iconic Etisalat logo to the bold “e&” identity.
To anchor the CGI drones to their environment, precise tracking of the Pyramids and their surroundings was carried out. This ensured accurate alignment of the digital elements with the real-world location, creating an authentic and immersive experience.
Solid and enhanced solid views helped ensure the visual integrity of the formations. These previews provided a framework for fine-tuning the drones' placements and transitions during the show.
This stage brought the drones to life with vibrant textures and dynamic lighting effects. The glowing white of Etisalat transitioned into the sophisticated tones of “e&,” symbolizing evolution and progress against the night sky.
Before taking to the skies, every drone movement was simulated in a controlled CGI environment. This stage focused on ensuring precise choreography, fluid transitions, and perfect synchronization of the drones as they created intricate formations in the sky.
Exploring advanced masking effects with geometry nodes in Blender to animate materials seamlessly across drone formations. Procedural setups were used to control material transitions, enabling dynamic patterns and gradients that flow over the geometry. This approach highlights the power of non-destructive workflows for creating intricate animations in procedural drone shows.
Procedurally crafted using geometry nodes in Blender, this drone show simulation demonstrates precise control over motion paths, formations, and dynamic lighting. Utilizing parametric design principles, each drone's trajectory and animation were calculated to achieve seamless synchronization, showcasing the potential of procedural workflows for large-scale visual effects.
Transformation in Motion: From Concept to Reality
This stage highlighted the journey of the CGI drone show, comparing initial drafts, raw simulations with the polished final product.
The transformation underscores the innovation behind Etisalat’s rebranding to “e&” at the Pyramids.
